Amidst all the camcorders that show off with their HD recording capabilities but fall back when it comes to the storage, the newly introduced JVC Everio GZ-HD620 manages to stand above all (at least for some time). The new product from JVC really packs in some cool stuff and will give you cool ideas too. And it’s also supposed to be the lightest and the smallest HD camcorder in the world. The GZ-HD620 is a full HD camcorder which records at 1920 x 1080 resolution with the help of its backside illuminated CMOS sensor. Has a 2.7” LCD display, Micro SDHC/SD card support, MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 video format support, Dolby Digital 2ch audio and USB (Mini), HDMI output (Mini, CEC supported), component output and AV output.

What’s new is the incredibly light 120GB hard drive that weighs only 270g. Shoots amazing videos using the 30x optical lens and the videos can also be stored in a microSDHC card. JVC will launch this product tomorrow in Japan for a price of 100000 Yen. No idea about releases in other countries. Now you can make your own 2012 movie, but without the awesome graphics and the stunts. But hey…use your imagination and you could make another American- pie movie and sell it in HD. You could even try to break the farthest egg throwing record…just tie this camcorder to the egg and then record a video..show it off to the world saying… “ look my egg went so far”..!! Advantages of being light and small. And of course you could also shoot your whole holiday this time thanks to the 120GB hard drive.
